SOLD!!!!
Hello !!!!
Well, just as I thought that I had overpriced my car, I received a call yesterday.
I placed the ad at $5000.00. hoping to get $4500.00. I would have gone a little lower but I really wanted $4500.00.
Anyway, a guy called last night just before I was going to my other job wanting to know a thing or two about the car and said that he would like to come and have a look at the car. He asked me a few questions and all that jazz but said that he will be over around two pm. I told him that he would have to come around earlier. We finally worked it out that he would come around at 8, But he would call to confirm in the morning. I was a bit concerned that he may not turn up at all.
To my surprise he called in the morning and said that he would be over in about 1/2 hr. Cool!!!!
So he came to have a look and we chatted about the car and that he had had two brumby's previously and bla bla bla. ENOUGH WITH THE CHIT CHAT -JUST BUY THE BLOODY CAR!!!
So he hummed and arred for a while until he said, would you take $4500.00 for it.
BINGO!!!!
I said ....... YES!!!
So he has given me $100 deposit and he will get the rest of the money when the banks open and buy the car off me on either Monday or Tuesday.
I think that the car will go on Monday as he was so eager by the end of it and his main concern was that he has applied for a job with virgin as a pilot but will not know if he has the job until next week. Too long as far as I am concerned...But then he changed his mind and said that he would take it if he had the job or not!!!
So there you have it.
I will have to take a photo of my beloved car before it goes so I can post them and you can all see what I was driving...
So tomorrow I will be $4400.00 richer. Then I am debt free for my uni and have savings left as Dad and I have decided that we will not buy a new bike but use the one that is there at the moment. That is fine by me...Then I will be able to save a considerable amount of money before I start studying.
I am well on my way to financial security for the first year at least!!!!
