Time for reflection

I have been looking back on the work that I have done for the last half of this year and decided that, although the process of casting has come easily for me, I need to look at working on my pieces lighter and more appealing to a larger audience. This also includes the pieces that I have made for the exhibition.
Now that the exhibition has closed and I will be going to pick up the pieces that I have not sold (I sold a total of 4 pieces out of 11 - not bad for a first go!), I am going to reconfigure into more wearable pieces. I have decided that the pods will be split up which will make more pieces and I will look at making 3 out of 1 for some of the pieces. I will be getting rid of the branches and will be adding crystal beads and glass beads to add some colour and make them a little more glamourous!

It has been good having done what I have done and I know now what I need to do to make it all work!
SO once I get them back I will be a busy boy, but you know I like it that way. I will show you the pieces obviously, once they are done.
I am actually looking forward to it. I always like a challenge and I think that this will be a good one for me.........
I am also going to be creating a few broaches and rings over the coming weeks so you will have to keep your eyes peeled for the pictures of those too.....
Until then !!
