Alex's Christmas Party
Well we had the Christmas party on the weekend where Alex went as pirate and I went as a Princess....That was the theme and Alex wanted me to go and mess with some people's minds...It worked! So here is one of the pictures taken by the photographer they had there....Apparently there are lot of me...but here is just one!
Time for reflection
I have been looking back on the work that I have done for the last half of this year and decided that, although the process of casting has come easily for me, I need to look at working on my pieces lighter and more appealing to a larger audience. This also includes the pieces that I have made for the exhibition. Now that the exhibition has closed and I will be going to pick up the pieces that I have not sold (I sold a total of 4 pieces out of 11 - not bad for a first go!), I am going to reconfigure into more wearable pieces. I have decided that the pods will be split up which will make more pieces and I will look at making 3 out of 1 for some of the pieces. I will be getting rid of the branches and will be adding crystal beads and glass beads to add some colour and make them a little more glamourous! It has been good having done what I have done and I know now what I need to do to make it all work! SO once I get them back I will be a busy boy, but you know I like it that way. I will show you the pieces obviously, once they are done. I am actually looking forward to it. I always like a challenge and I think that this will be a good one for me.........I am also going to be creating a few broaches and rings over the coming weeks so you will have to keep your eyes peeled for the pictures of those too.....Until then !!
