This is a large feather that I have made from cardboard and painted with a rust proofing paint to give it a metallic look, as I have chosen to represent a man made environment that has been made to look natural. I thought that it was rather ironic and as our theme was politics in place, I will also be writing on the feather key dates - ie 1824 - when Brisbane was first settled by european settlers.
