1st Day of School

Today was the first day of school!!
I had to get up really early this morning to get to uni on time, then I caught the wrong bus and ended up travelling towards Chermside!! Totally in the wrong direction!!
Finally arrived at uni with 10 mins to spare, then the teacher was late too so there was really about 15-20 minutes to spare!!
I must admit, after the experience that I had happen with Dramatic Form, I was a bit concerned about what would happen in Acting in Context, but after today, I am feeling a lot better about it and am really looking forward to the semester. We have to read some plays before next week. I am buying the plays that we have to work with as I would love to build on my collection and also I hate having to hand the books back at the library - as you may not be able to borrow the book you have until someone else has finished with it. This way I will always have a copy!!!
After my lesson I thought that I would take a swim. When I got to the pool all these people were standing out of the pool. The guy who looks after the uni pool had informed me that the pool was open but he had just kicked everyone out to ensure no one got zapped by lightning- as it was raining and there was a bit of thunder. Boo hoo!!! I said that i would take the risk and to let me in- which he agreed too but said that if there was any more thunder that he would have to make me get out of the pool....I thought that the only way he would get me out of the pool is if he came in and dragged me out!!! People get so scared over a bit of rain and a bit of thunder!! Not like you should be worried about getting wet that is for sure!!!
So I had my swim, then went into the city to get my plays to read and have some lunch. I also bought a calorie and fat counter book that will help me with selecting the right foods instead of all the bad ones. Not that i want to lose weight, I just want to strip my body of the fat that this giving me the appearance of a small tyre in the mid section, and also help in giving me more definition.
A nice comment from alex the other night that he thought I am getting more defined which is nice...Good to see that my effort is paying off!!! Speaking of which, I will have to go and do leg training now so I will leave you all with it!!!

Meet...BUFFMAN!!!! Coming to a computer near you!!!

Yes well, I have been working out, but lately I have been a little under the weather so I have not been able to do anything!!! Crazy, as all I want to do is get buff!!! So I am back into it even though I am not fully recovered - and before all you mothers out there start preaching at me -I know what I am doing. At the moment I am only doing gym work but I am hoping to have the swimming happening soon enough!!! Then all I have to do is get the bike working and I will be laughing!! That will have to be next week I feel!!!
So I have started these new exercises for my chest and "guns". Bloody hell I hurt!! What's worse is that I have also started trainging my legs!! OUCH!!!! My arse is soooo soor and it is not for the reasons you may all be thinking!!! It is because I am doing lunges!!! I will have BUNS OF STEEL!!! The really good thing is that the memory in my leg muscles has bought my legs back into shape like there is no tomorrow!!! I am a happy chappy!!!

Well that's all for the moment. I smell like a Monkey's Butt and need to do some shopping!!

This is the amazing light shade at the Lychee Lounge. We all agreed that it would have been a pain in the arse to make! It is all small rods of metal soldered together!!

Brent, Clare and myself went out last night for a catch up before uni starts. Hannah was suppose to come too but she ended up at the sunshine coast so she did not make it.

It was a good night. We drank and then ate pizza then drank some more. We went to the pavillion then off to the Lychee Lounge. The cocktails that we shared at the Lychee Lounge were really strong!! But we managed. I kind of new that I had reached my quota when it was time to eat. Food always seems to stop me from wanting to drink any further!!
