This one is one of the first studies I have done for the main image of the painting. A bit too mask like I was told but after all it is the study and not the final piece!!! Posted by Picasa

This is probably one of my favourite studies. It just seemed to work the best out of all of them. Posted by Picasa

I have been doing some studies for an image that I want to use in my painting folio - which I am in the process of doing. This is just one of them. Posted by Picasa

Painting

Well, I have my painting portfolio due soon and as you can see I am busy trying to organise all the studies of what I have been doing and getting it all into order.

I showed one of these images to the painting teacher and asked her opinion. This is after she had told me to paint with my hands - this should give me the energy that I am after.
She laughed and asked if I was joking. What a rude bitch!!! So I have decided that the teachers at this establishment can go f*&k themselves and I am going to do what I like and they can just stick it. I was totally in shock by how she reacted to the image I had shown her as she made me feel like I did not know what the hell I was doing. I said that I was not joking and gave her attitude. That may not work in my favour when it comes to marks but honestly, they can stick thhe marks up their arse as far as I am concerned. They cannot fail me for what i have produced.
I am just waiting for the critique and for her to say something to me about what I have done....That will be the next step where I lose the plot and tell her to stick it where the sun don't shine!!!
Anyway, that is enough of my bitching......for now anyway!!!

yes, this is what I think most of the time!! Posted by Picasa

did I mention

did I mention that i am getting tired of all this.
I know that I should still be positive and looking forward to results but when the results that you get are nothing on what you thought they would be then it becomes difficult for you to think anything other than the holidays.
I really don't have that much to do which is good but it all has to be done in three weeks and that is the part that has me worried.
It has not helped that i got the flu and had all last week off to recover - and still not fully recovered - what a pain in the arse!!!

Soon there is light at the end of the tunnel though!! I will have time to relax and enjoy!!!
At least recouperate!!

AHHHHH!!! I can't wait till the holidays!! Well - given the assessment that I have - I kind of can!!!

Birthday Party

Well. I thought that I would never do it again but I made a promise a few months ago, quite a few months ago, to do a show for a birthday of a friend of mine and here is the evidence!!!

It was a lot of fun and I had a ball but there is still not the feeling there to be doing it more often than not. I prefer not having to do it all the timie and it makes it more enjoyable and more of an event when you only do it every now and then.

Someone asked me if I would be doing the next CWC...OVER MY DEAD BODY!!!!

It was supposed to be in November but has been postponed till next year in Feb. In other words it has been cancelled because the organisers could not organise themselves out of a wet paper bag!!!

In any case, this night was really good. Alex was there also - dressed as a flight attendant as the theme was around the world in 80 days. Wanda did his make up which was lovely of her and made his skirt. He had printed the safety cards he has gathered from the air lines onto transfer paper and ironed them onto the calico skirt. They looked really good but I think that they would have been more successful if it were a full dress maybe - in any case- I can always make him a top!!!
But it was really a good time.
I just wish that I did not work that day as I was tired and a bit rushed to get everything done in time. The others had plenty of time to get ready but I was too rushed even to have a nanna nap.
Never mind!!!
Well the photos follow in any case, so you will be able to have a look for yourself and see what I have been up to!!!!
Cheers Queers!!!
